If you become a part of our team, you will be responsible for engineering applications that will run across iOS, Android and the Web, such as a video interviewing application (similar to Spark Hire), and a complex chat application (similar to Microsoft Teams) meant for internal use of our client.
As a key member of the team tasked with contributing to several high-value projects, you will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure – that’s why a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design and quality products is important.
Here’s what you will do:
- Building and shipping robust apps to Android/iOS devices using a single codebase
- Writing readable and clear code using Dart, a clean and maintainable code that can assist in scaling an application in the future
- Participating in the development life cycle, working with product owners, QA engineers, designers, and developers to produce a high-quality application to be released to the marketplace
- Taking an active role in investigating new tools and techniques to aid application development
- Fixing bugs
- Staying up to date with the latest thinking and development trends to ensure ideas and technologies remain current
You have:
- 3+ iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter. Either deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on Github
- 3+ years in mobile software development
- 1+ years of developing Flutter applications for mobile
- In-depth understanding of front-end languages like HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding of the Agile development life-cycle
- Experience with automated testing and building
- Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control tools and IDEs like Android Studio, VS Code, etc.
- Comfortable using test cases for debugging code, enhancing performance and reliability
- You care about your applications and services, and you build them as if you were going to use them
- Excellent English & communication skills
What can be an advantage (not required)
- Experience in programming languages for mobile development – Kotlin or Swift
- Understanding of Android Keyboard API
- Experience with optimizing applications for Material Design
- CI/CD
